A.P.A.C. Ltd provides 3D laser scanning for historic buildings, archaeological sites and other structures across Wales, the Welsh Borders and the West Midlands. Using our FARO scanners, we create detailed, measurable records that can support archaeological recording, conservation, restoration and building projects.
A scan captures the shape and features of a building or site in three dimensions. The resulting data can be used to examine areas in detail, take measurements and produce drawings where required. It is particularly useful when a building has complex features that are difficult to record accurately by hand, or when a reliable record is needed before work begins.
