3d laser scanning

Archaeological Services Wales, Archaeological Contractor Midlands, Local Archaeologist

We are now pleased to be able to offer 3D laser scanning to aid recording of sites, buildings or finds. Laser scanning is an active, fast and automatic survey and recording technique using laser light for accurate measument across areas of interest

The scans, using our own Faro scanners, allow creation of three dimensional, fully measurable and accurate surveys and drawings and are particularly useful in building recording projects.

The 3D scans can be of particular use to architects and estate agents as well as archaeologists as they produce a fully measurable and navigable 3D model of the site or building.
